Two passports

May be I'm overthinking this, but does anyone have any experience with doing OLCI with a foreign passport but go through BKK exit immigration with a Thai passport? (I'm going to enter with a Thai passport so definitely can't exit with a foreign one.)

Last time I flew out to HND I skipped OLCI and checked in at the airport, the check in guy specifically asked if I want to use different passport to exit BKK than to enter Japan and to this day I still don't know if he did anything special.

I have used a different passport to exit Thailand and another to enter another country but never do OLCI anyway. Thailand could be fairly fussy with these things.

The trouble is due to pesky visa requirements I have to use the non-Thai passport to OLCI.

Perhaps it's best to airline staff to check me in at the airport manually, just to be on the safe side...
