Gulf of Thailand scuba diving recommendations
Hi everyone,
I'm headed to Thailand for 12 days in September, and the plan is to spend the final 4-5 days scuba diving. Based on my research, the weather in the Gulf of Thailand is preferable to the Andaman Sea during that time of the year. I'm looking for recommendations of dive resorts in the region - Ideally I'd like a place that offers lessons & guided dives, as it's been nearly a decade since I got my certification and could definitely use a refresher. I'll also be joined by a beginner who intends to get his certification there.
Last time I went diving was in Koh Tao, which was a great experience; I'd prefer a different locale for the sake of variety, but at the end of the day I want a great experience without breaking the bank.
Thanks in advance!
