Cost and Recomendations for Travel Insurance
Can someone share some recommendations for Covid travel Insurance to Thailand? What have been the costs?

Lots of recommendations in the Test & Go application process thread. Personally, I was able to purchase a 30 day policy from Roojai for 650 THB/~19 USD.

Do you want real insurance or just something to get you a Thailand Pass?
Depending on when you're travelling you may want to hold off as there may be updates to the requirements announced following the CCSA meeting next Friday. |
if you travel frequently anyway and you have a primary plan in the US, GeoBlue multiple trip insurance (trekker choice/essential) meets this requirement and for $124-$175 (for a 35 yo, for example) you're covered for other trips up to 70 days (per trip) globally too for 1 year. Just make sure you include all the plan documents on the portal when you apply for the QR code. I used to carry this insurance when I was based out of the US because it was more cost-effective than buying trip-specific plans. And I did not have any issues with them when I had to make claims either.

I would have thought that the credit card you travel with covers your emergency medical insurance costs. Isn't that one of the many reasons to get these type of cards?
|
As a follow up, I got it after a day. Also, I email the provider and it was responsive. highly recommended.
