at least for the time being, entry for sandbox is not questioned and there are many more blue zones than in the beginning of Q4 (only Phuket and Samui)

Well, at least we got a month and a half of "freedom", before the world turned belly up again...

This is like a yo-yo 🪀. Will make it very difficult for tourists to make plans.

True - let’s see if it really happens (one can only hope it will not)..

Sadly, not much different from the rest of the world though - looks like everywhere changes like the wind blows with a new wave of panic arising every few months

Seems like a no brainer. If Europeans are not coming due to their current Omicron wave and Americans probably would rather go to Mexico, suspension of Test and Go would not be too much of a loss. Can't rely on the 2% Australians who are going overseas this holiday season.

Well, this system does not just exist for tourists as you seem to imply! For all Thai citizens as well as those of us living here, it surely is a loss if we want/need to travel out and come back !

Ugh, if it happens - hope airlines consider this policy change and make tickets refundable. I will be out a lot of $ otherwise.

I strongly suspect the best you will be able to get is a future flight credit.

Well, I'll take what I can get. Better than losing $$$ completely.

I am flying out this weekend, although my TP has been approved but I still haven't bought my ticket yet.

Already made appointment to go for the PCR test and will wait for the result to decide on which flight I should take.

Never anticipate that travelling nowadays is such stressful and unpredictable.

wow, that would be disappointing, I leave Friday and changed confirmed travel to Sweden to Thailand once test&go started. Hope they announce something soon, would suck to be halfway through my flight and then find out test&go is canceled when I arrive in Thailand.
