The widespread Songkran travel is going to be a big factor this go around. I am pretty nervous about this one.
Combined with the more contagious variants probably at work, I fear this is going to get pretty bad.

Fingers crossed / Amulet wearing / red Fanta offered

From the quoted article:
"Doctors suspected that while on patrol at these entertainment places the officers, although wearing face masks, might not be have worn gloves while performing their duties. They might then have been infected by touching their faces."
Well, not really - sigh, hope someone catches up with the real science soon
More likely not wearing masks correctly or MORE IMPORTANT - the INFECTED person not wearing a mask. Regular masks (not medical grade n95) do not provide perfect protection from exposure

As an American, I take comfort in the fact that our politicians and bureaucrats don't have a monopoly on stupidity.

those are accumulated cases...from when, nobody knows...
there were only few deaths during last couple of days (in April just 3; on 3. 9. and 10.)...let the fingers crossed that this remains the case; that is the most important thing

I'm not sure what you mean. The currrent deaths figure of 97 comes from data on cases etc that has been reported to the DDC from each province since Feb 15th 2020, with the first death on 1st March 2020 - a guy from Samut Prakan.

I was talking about his list of positive tested cases by province Bangkok 1689, Chiang Mai 880 etc.....which must be a list of accumulated cases but since when is the question...
the number of deaths I do not question at all...97 since the early beginning of the pandemic and just 3 deaths so far in April 2021
