Busy Bangkok
I’m staying in Bangkok from Nov 4th for a few days, are there any public holidays or conventions etc in this week? Asking as my hotel is fully booked which I thought was unusual.
Thanks

Which hotel? Where (in Bangkok exactly)?
Thailand is a very, very popular tourist destination, with ~ 37 million tourists expected in 2018.
To me there seems to always be a lot of tourists although there is some rhythm to the week, where groups arrive, go somewhere else in Thailand then return to the city for a few days before departing. So it might seem dead mid-week, but stuffed on/near the weekends.
There are multiple conventions every week, again Bangkok is a popular MICE destination with the infrastructure to support multiple massive events. You can check the BiTEC, Queen Sirikit Convention Center and IMPACT websites for schedules.
There are several holidays this month (13, 15, 23, 24), but doubt these affect international tourist numbers or local hotel booking levels? No holidays, other than Loy Krathong, in November, AFAIK.
