Cheap regional jumps from BKK on longhaul planes
So QR do a hop to Hanoi on one of their DOH-BKK flights, TK do IST-BKK-SGN, Eva's London to Bangkok flight then goes on to Taipei.
I'm looking for cheap regional business class flights from BKK on shiny long-haul planes with lie-flat seats that have come from somewhere else. Which other ones do people know about?

Sadly you can no longer purchase BKK-SGN or vice-versa with TK it can only be bought on the longer ticket from Istanbul.
The EK flight to Hong Kong is great value for money. Especially if you can afford it in F.
Believe Royal Jordanian also have a flight available to KUL.

If you can get to SIN, you could connect onto the KLM flight to DPS (Bali).

Though BKK SIN itself can turn up with flat beds on CX. It's scheduled as a regional A330 (business-class, yes, but sans the flat bits): however, CX magic can throw the A340 into the mix, which i think offers fully reclining seats.
I'd take the QR Hanoi trip. It's not got the latest seating, but there is flatness: and on my last trip a solitary passenger in that cabin.
HAN has an impressive new airport terminal, QR gets access to a pretty smart lounge there. Taxis are easy and cheap, and their are some delightful, good-value hotels in the old city.
If you have the right passport (includes UK) you won't need a visa.

You didn't post a link to the TR; so I couldn't read it. I've done HKG-BKK on RJ twice, once in Y and once in J. Very satisfied both times.
