Connecting in BKK question

Looking at flights connecting through BKK. Arriving on EK and connecting to a domestic Bankgkok Airways flight.

Be it as it may, it's more cost effective to get separate tickets on EK and PG but, as we all know, that creates risks in case of a misconn.

How easy is the INTL->DOM transfer (no luggage) at BKK?

Thanks!

It's all in the same terminal. Only hassle can be at Immigration. They've gotten a lot better in the past couple of years but there are times when it take an hour to clear Immigration. Depends on day, time of day and how many other flights landed 5 minutes in front of you.

Thanks.

Is there a arrival / transfer service available at BKK that can be used to get through immigration quickly?

There's a special immigration queue for Intl->Dom transit passengers (near the transit counters). These are always empty and quick. You needn't worry about clearing the main immigration/security checkpoints.

I assumed, based on his original post implying that he has 2 separate tickets, that the Bangkok Airways ticket would not be considered International so he would have to clear Customs at SVB. If they were together he might not.

It would indeed be two tickets. Can I just show them both at the counter to prove that I'm connecting?
