Weather during Easter

Travelling to Thailand (Bangkok) for Easter (1-9 April 2012).
Spending 3 days in Bangkok then considering Phuket, Koh Samui or Hua Hin for the remainder. Is the weather/climate generally the same for these locations or is one preferable to the others?

It's been 33-36C (92-96F) for about a month now and April is the hottest month typically.

Enjoy.

Phuket is loacted at the west coast (andaman Sea) of Thailand and Samui and Hua Hin at the east Coast (Gulf of Thailand). The weather is different because of the monsoon. Maybe have a look on following page to get an idea regarding the weather: www.wunderground.com/ they are quite good with there forcasts.

I tend to use World Climate Charts, myself, for general planning.

This is true for the periods including July through December. January through June (or whenever the Andaman monsoon kicks in for that given year) will not have much differences between the coasts.

it is better if you go through weather conditions of each before making out. However, Hua Hin have one of Thailand's most celebrated festivals, Songkran (the Thai New Year or Water Festival), that will take place in the second week of April, and involves lots of refreshing water-throwing. so look out for the aspect you want to consider more.
'i hope it helps you a little bit

You do realize that your response, in the 20th of April, references a holiday that occurred on April 13-15.
