Layover in BKK logistica

Hi-

We are flying- on seperate tickets, into BKK on Thai airways, first class. We are then taking a Bangkok air flight to Koh Samui.

1. When will we have to clear customs?

2. How far apart are the Thai Air and Bangkok Air gates?

3. Can we relax in the Thai air first class lounge (is there one?) once we clear customs with our bags?

4. Any good food we should hit at the airport?

Thanks!

1. When will we have to clear customs? TG and PG have an interline agreement so your bags can be through checked to USM. You will clear Immigration in BKK and Customs with your luggage in USM

2. How far apart are the Thai Air and Bangkok Air gates?Impossible to know. My flights on PG have always been from bus gates.

3. Can we relax in the Thai air first class lounge (is there one?) once we clear customs with our bags?TG does not have arrival lounges. If your connection was on TG you would have been welcomed into the TG First lounge. However, your journey with TG terminates in BKK...so no TG lounge access. PG offers a basic lounge for all their pax in BKK.

4. Any good food we should hit at the airport?I've always ate in the TG/SQ lounges...however you shouldn't expect to find more than popcorn, water, and maybe something sweet in the PG lounge.

Thanks!
