Courier request - US->TH
I won't be back in the US for awhile, and I would really appreciate if someone could bring a particular harmless item to Thailand for me by the end of May. I'd really prefer not to ship it. And it's really a matter of convenience for me, not necessity.
I've been advised to not directly offer cash compensation on FT. So, I'll try to "repay" you somehow... |
I would just have it mailed, simple, easy and cost-effective. It seems like you'd have to have it mailed on both ends anyway (in the USA to the courier; then in Thailand from the courier to you)? I mail packages both directions often, without any problems.

It's free shipping on the US side, and I'd meet the courier at BKK upon his/her arrival to minimize the hassle on this end. For me, it's not as much about shipping costs as it is dealing w/ customs here and shipping insurance.
However, I appreciate the input. If it doesn't work out, so be it. |

I am game
Let me know what you need I depart Monday May 17, land the morning or May 19,

I've done this for acquaintances in Bangkok on occasion, and I'd be glad to help, but unfortunately, I'm not traveling to LOS this month. :(
