TG to BLR?
 

Came across this travel agent selling TG tickets from SIN-BOM/MAA/BLR (I assume through BKK). The TG website doesn't show any flights to Bangalore. Anyone know if this a new flight coming up and when its going to be operational?

Looks like BLR is not on the schedule yet but it's on it's way....maybe they've got some sort of deal with IC or 9W using the Chennai flight for now.

THAI to add flights to 5 Indian cities by 2004

(BANGKOK) Thai Airways International plans to start flights to five more Indian cities by 2004, doubling its seat capacity and sales on routes to the world's second most populous country....

Chennai is the first of these cities, followed by Bangalore, Varanasi, Gaya, and Guwahati. Thai already has service to Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata.

You're right...Didn't get a reply from that travel agent when I emailed them. But I checked with another travel agent who said its the TG BKK-MAA flight connecting with the S2 flight from MAA to BLR. I think I'll stick with SQ via SIN for now. That article says "by Nov 2004"...thats a long time off http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif
