Thai will pay you if you get SARS
An AP article in today's New York Times article says it all. Thai air will give any passenger who gets SARS from flying on their planes 100,000 USD. They seem to be certain that their planes are clean and their policies prevent SARS from boarding.

given that there's a 10 day incubation period for SARS, I think proving that one caught SARS on a Thai Air plane would be pretty tough.
Me thinks this is just a publicity ploy. |
$100K for a one in a five chance to die? Ummmmmmmmmm... that's a tough call but can I give it a miss, please? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif
My life is certainly worth more than a lousy $100K, even had the offer come from AA or UA, but from TG?? I think I'll give it a miss but I will still fly TG F in the future! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif |
