Best C-class seat on domestic 777 & 737?

Hi all,

I'm flying a couple of domestic sectors on TG soon. They are on 777s and 737-400s.

Which is the best C-class seat for these aircraft? I usually prefer an aisle seat, and looking at the seat maps I figure 12B looks like a good one.

Any comments or suggestions greatly appreciated.

The 737 seat is about the same pitch as coach only a bit wider...definitely a terrible seat. I guess if you don't want anyone leaning back into you get the first row but your leg room is severely limited there too.
On the 777 C class is 8 across so its a tight squeeze but the pitch is OK. Try and get a seat on the window side of the aisle as there are only 2 seats not 4 abreast. The 777 usually doesn't have too many people aboard domestically so any seat should be ok.

Thanks for the heads up travelinmanS. From your comments, I'm not sure if it was worth the extra money for C-class. The 737 sounds like a nightmare!

I appreciate your feedback.

I wouldn't go as far to say C class on TG 734 is a "nightmare". I flew BKK-CNX in seat 11A (TG start their c class cabin at 11) and it was perfectly fine. Yes, the pitch is limited, but it is certainly no worse than 1A on a QF, MH, US 734 IMHO.

MD, I don't really enjoy the bulkhead seats because I like to have space in front of me to store my luggage. I avoid the bulkhead on UA whenever possible.

That's why I thought 12B would be a good seat. It is a second row seat.
