TG930/TG931 Terminal 1 update please?

Hi to the regular Paris and the European flyers, I need an update on the condition of Terminal 1 at CDG,

and the current F lounge.

My last flight was a total disaster, I was in the wrong place at the wrong time, so I need to organise myself better. I couldn't find any fast track immigration lines, and the airport was in the middle of renovation, and the baggage collection was a mess.

This trip, I will restrict my luggage to carry on only, so I will avoid the main problem that I have always had, but I need help, I need to be smarter in fast tracking myself through the airport. Any help on arrival and departures that would be of assistance to a TG pax is appreciated. Many thanks in advance regards bkkrop.

hi bkkrop

i travelled bkk-cdg-bkk in F earlier this month, so you may find the following observations current...

the lounge is the same as before :td:, up the elevator by the duty free, salon icare (sp?). one slight change is that the toilet, instead of being at the back of the lounge to the left of the bar, is now outside and thus shared (one stall only) by the other lounges. big difference to the toilets in the bkk F lounge!

as far as immigration is concerned, a staff member at the F check-in (stunningly beautiful and immaculately presented as usual ;)) offered to escort me to the lounge. if i had accepted she might have taken me through some fast track. i wanted to go downstairs for a mcdonalds (don't ask) so i declined. the queue was short anyway when i reached immigration on my own.

the worst queue was the security in the satellite by the gate. the check-in goddess had offered to pick me up from the lounge at boarding time. i left earlier and made my own way. big mistake, huge queues. whilst queueing i noticed staff escorting some passengers through the crew/weelchair lane to the right. i am sure i could have tried that queue and i strongly advise you to do so.

have a nice flight (caviar is definitely back)

Hi st*rgold, you requested that I shouldn't ask, but stunningly beautiful, I will show you the way, let me help you and NO.

st*rgold we will just have to take you off that medication :D

If you are still around, it was the entry I always have problems with, did that "stunningly beautiful and immaculkately dressed" person also meet you when you arrived. Last trip it took me 2 hours to exit Terminal 1, and that is why I have eliminated checked baggage this trip, hoping to cut the time in half.

Obviously the lounge is the same, love that extra friendly touch the French have of sharing toilets, thanks for replying, regards bkkrop.

i always have checked baggage, and it always comes out almost last, more than one hour.

the first class passengers arrived at the empty immigration queue first on my last trip, so there was zero delay there.

as far as meet and greet, i once asked a lady if there was an arrivals lounge, she said not really but radioed to the salon icare lounge so i could go there for a coffee and to read the newspapers (i knew the luggage would take an hour). so you may wish to ask a representative when you arrive about fast track immigration, or just hurry to the immigration desk....

Cdg-bkk-cdg tg f

hi all

the last time i took tg 930/931 in F was june of this year. the new F lounge was good (compared to the previous salon...), good food/drink/champagne and deserted.

however, i was not offered an escort from check-in (through immigration) to the lounge. neither did the lounge receptionist offer to have somebody take me (through security) to the gate.

i left late to board and so the inevitable horrendous security queues had abated.

however, i prefer to board early. my question is, has anybody recently departed CDG in TG F and been offered any such assistance. i will be repeating the journey next week and would like to know my options.

thanks in advance.
