Thai Upgrades using United
Have been trying to get upgrades on 2 Thai flights using United Plus points or Points.
Keeps saying Not available. Don't know if they are or are not.
Do they wait till last minute to open seats?

What is the route and date? Some routes/dates are very quickly snapped up, others less so. There is no particular intelligence on the release of upgrade seats post-covid.

We agree. You can upgrade a TG flight with UA miles (although this is often a challenge). You cannot upgrade a TG flight using the UA PlusPoints that are given annually to UA platinum and 1K members. 😊
