That is fairly common if you have booked via a TA / other airline, I would say - I have seen this multiple times for work bookings done through CWT for instance. I am guessing that is the case here?

Yes, booked via United Airlines. Looks like I need to call TG in that case.

On another note, I just booked a trip to Europe next week (directly with TG) and between booking and ticketing the booking showed ‘on hold’ and pending payment, even requesting me to complete payment… Brilliant website

Yeah, there seems to be a queued ticketing rule in place for some reason. I had this in Oct last year and despite being reassured a payment link would be sent, after 2 months waiting I called and asked them to just send it right then.

I had this problem with an award booking made by Turkish Airlines with TG. I rang my local TG office, they were able to update my details and from there everything worked fine.

Are you sure the transaction wasnt a hold until things get confirmed by TG ticketing? Many hotels in Thailand now seem to do?? (esp Accor chain).
