Priority security clearance at BKK

Back before christmas I had a TG flight in J from CGK to BKK, which allowed me use of the fast track security lane on arrival. I have another flight into BKK in March but haven't yet made a reservation. Fast track was good, and I'm wondering if it's just TG J that has access, or do all airline J bookings qualify?

I went through there two days ago, having arrived in TG J from London. I was looking carefully at the signage and it clearly said First and Business with no mention of airlines. I wasn't issued with a fast track card, haven't seen those since before covid; they were checking boarding passes.

Is the inbound F/J immigration fasttrack still open to old people in Y?

Along with the millions of other exceptions. I have not had an issue inbound but outbound tends to have a gigantic line of people with kids, 300 wheelchairs and their entourage, etc. I really would wish that AOT would have a fast track for F and J only - it is getting too ridiculous these days!

I was on my last trip in August ALONE at the TG Fast Track (and I did not fly TG); maybe it also depends on the time; it was around10a.m.
But you are right, sometimes an armada of wheelchairs storming the Fast Track....and they even have the attitude to jump the queue of the Fast Track
...and the airlines pay for F and J passengers and not for all the other exceptions....

Sure it is time dependent, but I also seem to find that the (larger) fast track by row A is more quiet than the ridiculously busy (and smaller) one at the other end. I have my own theory as to why, but better keep them to myself so as to not upset anyone

And what about all the status holders traveling in Y who used to occupy that line too and now they don't? I don't understand why BKK don't reinstate fast track also for status holders traveling in Y.

Technically, it was never there in the first place. However, airlines could decide to whom they would hand out vouchers for fast track, which they in turn paid for. This turned into a big black-market-ish circus which thankfully was stopped.

If anything, rather than allowing every person and their dog in, they should make better a service for F and J pax.

It's good that they stopped with those silly vouchers but as they can check for J or F on the ticket, I'm sure they can check for status on tickets too.

Inbound, it was given for J pax deplaning although when requested I usually was able to secure one. Outbound, vouchers were handed at check in counters.
From my experience, TK, RJ, UL and MH gave vouchers.
