News flash from TG - MEL-BKK is back to twice daily from 27 October https://www.thaiairways.com/en_AU/in...100003531&jb=3

Nothing there about replacing the clapped-out 747 once daily service to SYD

Shame about SYD, my EU-Australia connections now to SYD are not good. I'm looking at 11 hours BKK transit on the way down and 9 hours on the way back home. For this reason my next down under is now booked on SQ.
