Trying to understand multi-city award bookings

Hi there,
As we all know, the ROP website is a joke and the handbook, while exhaustive, doesn't provide some answers on specific cases.
Gotta appreciate that incomplete page too, with that classic Lorem Ipsum down the page : https://www.thaiairways.com/my_MM/ro...ng_Miles.page?

I'd like to book an award ticket but with different arrival/departure cities:
Outbound trip: SIN-BKK-CDG
Inbound trip: FRA-BKK-SIN

1/ Is this possible?
2/ If yes, is the whole trip redeemable at 185,000 miles for a first class ticket, since each SIN-BKK-CDG and FRA-BKK-SIN trip doesn't exceed 8000 miles?

I assume so as open jaw is allowed for intercontinental flights and calculation exposed in 2/ should be working.

Thanks!

Yes, and
Yes (until October this year when there ROP program changes).

As I read it, after 01 Oct, the redemption costs will be 290,000 miles:
2x 125,000=250,000 BKK-CDG/LHR
2x 20,000=40,000 BKK-SIN return

or 310,000 miles using any Star carrier Zone 1 to Zone9

Obviously no F SIN-BKK and vv. The text is hilarious....

Details of the program change are here:

My job unfortunately doesn't allow me to have this kind of predictability
I guess I'll need to wait for a week before flying to have the O-class flood gates open... but it wouldn't work on the return leg(s), so I'll probably have to change my dates multiple times.

Good news, I did a booking yesterday and was put on waitlist on TG930 and TG921 (in First Class / O) in late September / October. They contacted me today with a reserved seat – quite pleased with the outcome and responsiveness
Thai-Kiwi likes this.

Yes I agree. I wasn't expecting them to call back so fast, especially on a weekend... Kudos to them...

Btw, in case of mixed class booking, whatís the luggage allowance policy? The one with the highest fare class for the entire journey? Iím flying First to Europe but obviously only Business from BKK to SIN. Will I also get 50+20 kg (Gold) on my last leg (BKK-SIN) even though itís in J only?

Donít know what the policy is. What does the e-ticket say?

Iíve only done the reverse; SQ F BKK-SIN, then SQ J SIN-AKL. Got the F luggage allowance for all sectors.

Youíll get the +20kg as *G no matter the cabin.

I didnít receive my e-tkt confirmation yet. Weird. I phoned them earlier and they initially said that sectors operated on Business will be only eligible to 40+20. When I insisted, noting that I booked the entire trip in F but since thereís obviously no F on BKK-SIN, I was booked on J and I should then be eligible to a full F baggage allowance on all sectors, they said they donít know... And it took 2 supervisors. So theyíll call me back on Monday.

Can you pull it up on MMB or even Amadeus ĎCheckMyTripí?

Try looking here as well, might have something relevant:

CheckMyTrip doesn't work anymore. They discontinued this feature...
Anyway I received my ETKT in the mean time (had to wait until today to issue it I guess) and it rightly shows 50 kg per sector (fare basis OBP009G5 on all sectors), like I thought. And 20 more kg as a Gold member. Not sure why they were confused on the call...
