Interlining with NZ

Iím booked to fly on a single PNR BKK-MEL on TG, overnight Melbourne and on to AKL on NZ first thing in the morning later this year. Does anyone know if Iíll be able to check my suitcase all the way through to AKL from BKK?

Yes, you’ll be able to check through.

Yes, as above.

My example. I had separate tickets BKK-AKL(TG), then AKL-BNE(NZ)-TSV(VA). THAI staff at BKK only too happy to tag bags through to BNE for me, since I needed to clear immigration and customs at BNE.

On a single PNR as in this case, no issues anyway. On two PNRs whilst THAI have every 'right' to not do this, they have done so on every occasion I have tried, which is consistent with the reports of others.
