My next flight is outbound only, so I’ll only get the no name one, which is fine by me, as long as it’s big enough.

I flew CDG - BKK two days ago. They only had the Porsche Design kits and no luck to trade them for any left stock Rimowas.
The flight attendant mentioned that it's possible to pre-order your favorite Rimowa kit color when flying out of BKK by calling the TG hotline two days ahead of flying.
Anyone tried this?

If that’s true, they should tell passengers beforehand. I would certainly never have ended up with that ugly-as-hell pink Rimowa that was all they had on BKK-SYD a few days ago. To load only pink ones still leaves me flabbergasted, what was the person who decided that thinking...

and more often than not, the colors are not assorted and only one, max two available….

But then again, I am probably spoiled by LH, LX and the like, which have separate kits for males and females.

In most European cultures, a pink amenity kit is just completely unthinkable for all but the most extroverted heterosexual males. An (albeit ugly) silver one is not.
