thanks for the update
I liked the temporary solution in the restaurant airside, which lasted far more than a year (much better food)
how is the food and beverage? similar to the old one?

northsideguy - Thank you for your lovely photos. Long overdue. Do they still have restrooms at the back? One difficulty with the temporary restaurant alternative, was that it was prior to security, i.e. landside, and was often crowded.

crowded?
they had a lot of space in the Restaurant. In fact the old lounge was often crowded and you could hardly find a free seat when you arrived late…
yes Restaurant was landside, but I never had more than 5 minutes to go through security

I used the lounge on the 15th, the first day they opened. Nice coincidence. Food is similar to other TG lounges, so don't expect too much.
One pieced advice: Bring warm clothes! It was very cold in there!

but in the past food in CNX was a bit different then in BKK. So they changed it to be similar than BKK with the tasteless sandwich, greasy pastries and buns like rubber...

As a person who .....ed a lot about the lack of lounge, now I sorta wanted the temporary solution back.

Lounge food is far worse than BKK domestic. Some sandwiches but no puff pastry! (But there’s salad).
Also, no Coke Zero. No soft drinks are chilled either which is very odd.

And yes, it is a little cold. Also, it did get almost full when I was there with people using their WISDOM cards everywhere.

Was today in the Lounge! Nice job! More seats, better utilization of space
food is probably slightly better than in BKK domestic. All drinks are chilled and they have definitely Coke Zero

We visited the TG CNX lounge today, prior to TG103, CNX-BKK. I thought the food offered was fine. I had the salmon sandwiches with coffee. The seats in the far segment have individual electric outlets. The lounge was busy, as TG103 is a B777-300ER with many J seats, although most empty.

I might add that this plane has 3-3-3 seating in Y, which is quite pleasant. Many other airlines have moved to 10 across seating on their B777 in coach.

Made note of the Coke Zero.

When I visited the lounge at that time there was no fridge. That's probably explained the situation of lack of Coke Zero
