I am now, and have been on and off over the years. SK and SQ flights before I held any status (or it had lapsed), and CX no status:

SIN-BKK SK 1986
BKK-SIN SQ 2005
SIN-BKK CX 2015

a350 and 77w business seats are roughly the same, flat seats with isle access.

350 will be quieter and have higher cabin pressure, bigger windows. Plus an extra "cool" factor. Newer aircraft, too. I'd go for the 350.

77w and A350: yes there are minor differences as Kacee explained. however I would not mind and go for the most convenient itinerary if I have the choice between those two

Flying business on 77W is a really good product, especially for those who travel alone. No reason at all to try avoiding it.

Are the problems with the A350 solved at TG already? They had a couple of technical issues with it.

oh, is that new?
Is that the reason why they are going to give-up Premium Economy out of Stockholm (the A350 must have less biz-seats than the B777)

I'm not a frequent visitor in the Thai forum, but this is the first I've heard about Thai replacing the 77W with 350 at ARN. Do you have a source which confirms this, or is it just a rumor?

your question needs to be directed to Anadrag...... I am also astonished about that.
Just the termination of Premium Economy Class must have officially been announced:

According to your link, Creole Spirit, Thai says that they will cancel premium because they have "a high demand on our Business Class," i.e. they need all 42 seats for business class passengers. If they would simultaneously switch to a 359 with only 32 business seats, it would sort of defeat the purpose of the premium cancellation.

773 and 77W are not the same right?

I saw BKK-ARN is on 773 but the seat map show 1-2-1. Are all 773 get converted to 1-2-1?

there is a bit a confusion with the abbreviations and also TG does not use them consistent

there is a sticky thread with all planes and seat configurations

777-300ER all have full flat seats in 1-2-1 configuration
777-300 all have angle flat seats in 2-3-2 configuration (however the range of those does not allow flights to Europe)
77W or 773 is usually used for 777-300ER
777 for either 777-300 or 777-200, 777-200ER

those aircraft that marked as B773 that I have been, typically TG409/410 is always the old biz class

for TG 409/410 they have used probably every type available; currenty it is A350; 777-300ER have also been used

the plane is back in time to BKK for the many Long haul flights around midnight to Europe, Japan, Korea, northern China, Australia

as said, TG is not consistent re those abbreviations
