Differences in Caviar?
 

Just flew an F flight on Thai and both myself and mrs riced had the caviar. Same brand, but the caviar looks completely different. The photo makes it a little difficult to accurately compare, but to the eye they were definitely not the same. Is this a normal variation of the same brand? The caviar on the left is black and the eggs are small. The caviar on the right is a lighter color and the eggs are larger in size.

mine looked always like the one on the left side. I like caviar but I am not an expert
Would raise this question to TG; I guess the crew would not know at all...

It does look like they are two different grades of caviar. Within caviar there are quite few grades. So while they come from the same producer, I think they are two different products. Whether that is mistake, or the selection is a bit random is a good question

Right side: Lentils

makes sense! for one of the two, probably the Hindu Vegetarian special meal was ordered by mistake...
