During the past week, the rotation is quite stable with Narita flights TG640/641, TG642/643 and Perth flight TG481/482 getting consistent retrofitted product

Remember that this is a “regional” business class.

For economy class, is it better on A330 or A380?

There are 3 aircraft with these J seats (31 seats).

Just note that these configuration codes (330/33H/33R) are internal to THAI Airways, and information shown on websites (including THAI's!) will not show these codes and will usually just show A330 when booking. They show individually on the specific seating page of the website though.

Correct. It’s always such a nightmare (with every airline) to select flights whenever cabins aren’t unified...

Does anyone know why HS-TEN flew BKK-DMK 3 weeks ago and hasn’t flown since.

HS-TEO flew BKK-DMK 4 weeks ago and hasn’t flown since.

Mx issue? Two out of three reconfigured A330s not flying seems strange.

Maybe both aircrafts had scheduled major maintenance at DMK.

Wouldn't that have been done a few months ago when the planes were taken out of service for the cabin upgrades which took several weeks?

Also - TG's base is BKK, not DMK. Don't they do their tech/mx work at BKK?

TG do the major maintenance programs like C and D checks in DMK and UTP. BKK do the minor technical works.

Thank you for sharing that, I wasn't aware they used DMK and UTP for maintenance checks!

Back in 2006 I made a full tour of an A330 undergoing heavy maintenance at UTP - completely stripped down. A Thai friend of mine who worked for THAI maintenance arranged the visit.
