TG 916 had landed a few minutes before us and was another A380.Hopefully no further issues for the schedule!
HS-TUA flew as TG916 on 5. April to LHR but did not return, so TG917 was cancelled on 5. April. It did return to BKK on 8. April

Yes. On TG website, they now reroute via MUC (on 747) if you want to fly F.

As of Apr. 21, TG switched between aircraft type on KIX routes. TG622/3 is now served by A380 (used to be A350) and TG672/3 is now served by A350 (used to be A380).

If anyone knows spk knows. spk has been a very reliable (but humble) source of information ever since I joined this forum in 2004 (especially the planned aircraft refits over the years)

TG911 delayed nearly 6 hours at London Heathrow.

25th of July this year me and my family were flying from London Heathrow to Bangkok on TG911, One of Thai’s a380’s. At the boarding time of 11.45 we were told that there was a technical issue with the aircraft and that the engineers were looking at it. Around an hour or so later they said they’re now waiting for a new part from their supplier to be delivered and proceeded to hand out food and drinks vouchers. Eventually at 4pm we boarded but the part was still being fitted. We were sat on the ground for about an hour, maybe more. To me this was an experience but of course you get the complaints from business class passengers saying “if this plane doesn’t start moving in ten minutes, I’m walking!” You know? The usual.

From reading this thread there was problems with the same aircraft last year as well? Can anyone elaborate on this?

The incident you describe would be fairly routine for any airline and any aircraft anywhere.

I hope you each got your €600!?

Yes we all got €600 each. How would the incident be fairly routine? I only wondered as I remember seeing problems with the plane last year.

Same happened in july on TG911. We were delayed 6 hours due to a mechanical fault. We were given meal vouchers so that was good. To me it was an experience! When they announced that boarding was starting everybody cheered.
