Got TG'd - TG672

So I just noticed that my upcoming flight this summer got TG'd from a 380 to 350.

I was booked in First

I'm guessing this aircraft swap is most likely going to stick? Any chance of it changing back to either a 747 or 380?

Interesting to note though, it seems like TG622 is changing to the 380 sometime this year? I thought I read that was scheduled to change to a 350...

so why don't you change to TG622? seem to be on A380 through July/August. I am sure TG will accommodate giving your booking in F
don't expect that they fly two times per day with A380 to Osaka!

Not to hijack the thread, but the switch of equipment on Haneda flight will leave quite a bunch of people TG'd.
OTOH, there is new F award space for 1 seat even on high season dates.

Bangkok – Tokyo Haneda Operational aircraft changes
TG660/661 eff 01JUN18 A350-900XWB replaces 747-400
TG682/683 A350-900XWB operation (from 16FEB18) will be replaced by 747-400 from 25MAR18 to 30AUG18 (This flight previously filed as 777-300ER)

This summer, I’m on TG623 in F and they changed from 9F B747 to A380. Should this matter in anyway? Better? Worse?

A380 is quieter. Be sure to reserve the seat you want, now.

Time of departure for TG622 doesn't work for my schedule unfortunately. Plus, this route seems kind of up in the air:
https://www.routesonline.com/news/38/airlineroute/276511/thai-1q18-japan-service-changes-as-of-03jan18/

"The A350-900XWB will operate following service.

Bangkok – Osaka Kansai eff 01FEB18 TG622/623, replacing 777-300/-300ER "

Seems like TG is trying to figure out where to put their A350s

I'm looking to get onto TG676 to NRT instead. This route seems more consistent, with less equipment swaps.
Hopefully, this flight will remain an A380 for this summer... I'll just take the Shinkansen to Osaka.

It seems that the reports on routesonline.com are not complete. They haven’t reported about TG622/623 going from 747 to 380 and TG606/607 (HKG) going from 747 to 773.

F A380 versus 747- A380 more quiet as said- seat on A380 is slightly larger and has better functionality

check whether the second flight from the two daily is on the A380. TG will certainly accommodate a switch

Depends on whether you are in business class or bus class. For Biz, its a slight downgrade, for bus class, its even.

so what is the difference in Biz between 350 and 777-300ER; the seats are the same...a fraction of an Inch more space?
