Lemon cake in J class

Hello all, I just booked my flight from HKG to ICN for next week. I have not taken TG for at least 2 years. Why do they still serve that piece of pathetic lemon cake as dessert? I was going through all the recent reviews before I booked my flight and found it amusing to see that cake on virtually all the trays being given out in J class. I wonder...

Thai culture. "We've done it this way for the last 56 years. Why change now?"

looks delish. Easy to digest, not a choking hazard, and tasty. Save it for others who actually want it. Heck, I'll take the steak too.

That table actually does not resemble any J class table that I can recall on recent flights, looks more like the F table on the older 747's. And the cutlery looks like the F cutlery but please don't shoot me down in flames on this as I don't make a point of remembering what the cutlery looks like.......but I will check on my flight to Hong Kong tomorrow

This is where I chime in and complain about the pound cake that Lufthansa serves for breakfast as well, right?

Give them a break, it was made for you by the catering team!
And to each his own, but dry as that looks I think I'd prefer it over the lemon sponge cake thing

Both look like mass production cakes with lard.
