Boeing 777-300: Which seat in Business?

Hi,

I'm expecting a business class international flight with Thai (BKK->FRA).

Would appreciate suggestions as to which seat is preferred.

The online seat layout map looks like a checkboard (the seats seem to be arranged diagonally to each other) at least in the left and right most rows. Some seats are shown as "windows and aisle together", while some are not.

Also, does TG provide free wifi onboard in business? .

Many thanks.

All seats have direct aisle access. Do you prefer to be 'cocooned' or more open? Are you a single traveller? If so my preference is always against the window (A and K seats) as you don't get as much disturbance from the aisle. Otherwise if a couple I prefer the EF 'honeymoon' seats.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

Given this arrangement, I'll prefer a window seat. I'm currently booked in 15K. Is it sufficiently away from the galley and restrooms?. Last thing I'd want on a 11h flight is constant racketing from either.

Cheers

On my last TG flight KIX to BKK on an A380 in J we got a voucher for 10MB free access.

Usual WiFi Costs

I don't believe that the 777-300 has wifi on board.
I booked seats 18E/F for my (with my wife) BKK-FRA flights as they are private and provide extra space for your stuff.

Looking at the TG website, it looks like wifi is currently available only on the A330 and A380:

No, TG provides incredibly expensive wifi charged by usage not by time.

As stated, it's not on 77W anyway.

To the OP: Don't overthink this. I have travelled several times in C on TG B77W to/from CPH and there is not much difference between the seats - the A/B and J/K seats at the windows are great for a single traveller. The middle seats are great for 2 persons travelling together. The difference between e.g. 11B and 12A is minimal, so pick any of the A/B or J/K seats (if you travel alone) and I'm sure you will be satisfied. The galley is in the front but when in 11B I was not disturbed at all. You will be fine in 15K. All BB77W C seats are great.

No wifi on B77W.

Agreed no need to overthink, it's all good. Though I have a personal preference for the A/K seats where the arm rest/mini-table is next to the aisle, feels slightly more private than the ones where the table is next to the window (hence seat is exposed to the aisle).

This is spot on, but the difference between a B/J seat and A/K seat is immaterial IMO and being seated in a B or K seat will/should certainly not spoil the TG C experience for anyone.

row 15 is in the middle of the first cabin, so not near to galley or restrooms
other have been already said by other posters
- no wifi on 777-300ER
- EF honeymoon seats for couples
- A/K window seats with privacy as away from the isles but slightly caged
- B/D/G/J at the aisle

12, 15, or 19 A/K, these are on my list.
