9W to TG Connection
 
Hey FTers,

I need to go to SGN from MAA soon, and have a question about the return. In order to avoid a long transit, I'm looking at booking a separate 9W ticket from SGN to BKK, and connect onto TG for BKK-MAA.

So it will be MAA-SGN and BKK-MAA on one TG ticket, and SGN-BKK on a separate 9W ticket.

Is this doable? I haven't been to BKK in a long time. Can I just check in online for BKK-MAA and pick up boarding pass at the lounge? It'll all be in J and no bags to check.

Pricing it all up on one ticket is considerably higher, and the only alternative is MH and I want to avoid those recliner seats at all costs.
