Q: Which routes have full flat seats in Royal Silk?
A: Only the Airbus A380-800, A350-900, Boeing 777-300ER, 787-8 and 787-9 feature full flat seats in Royal Silk. The A380 is used on the following routes: LHR, CDG, FRA, HKG, KIX and NRT.
The B777-300ER regularly serves these destinations: OSL, CPH, ARN, FRA, BRU, ZRH, VIE, SIN, PVG, PEK, MEL and BNE. It also regularly flies domestic runs to HKT and CNX.
Q: Which routes get the new 747 «suites»?
A: Any route which is scheduled to be operated by a Boeing 747 might see the new «suites», but some routes are more likely to get them (but not guaranteed). These routes are: MUC, HKG, HND and SYD. Flights to HKT are often operated by the them, although these flights are without First class service.
Q: What are the chances of ending up on one of the old Boeing 747s with recliner seats in Royal First and Silk?
A: 0 %. All Boeing 747s have been converted and feature full flat seats in Royal First and angle flat seats in Royal Silk. Every seat in Economy also features a PTV with AVOD and AC power (every two seats).
Q: To which destinations do TG offer Royal First?
A: LHR, CDG, FRA, MUC, HKG, KIX, NRT, HND and SYD. Flights to PEK and PVG have "seasonal" (rather occasional) F service.
Q: Which version of the Boeing 777 features Royal First?
A: None. TG leased a handful of Boeing 777-300ERs from Indian Jet Airways a few years ago, that had eight enclosed first class suites. These aircraft have been returned to Jet Airways and are no longer in the fleet.

Anyone have updates on when/if TG will update their outdated angled lie-flats (772/747s/330s) with some full flats? They are awefully outdated and uncomfortable and I avoid flying it as much as I can (but someitmes can't avoid it).

for long haul yes they are not competitive anymore. but the 772/330 we will see less and less on long haul routes and will be replaced by 77w and 350.
It remains open if and when they are going to retire the 747, so I also do not expect a refurbishment on those birds, unless they decide to use them another 8-10 years

747s will be retired over time. 330s are mainly regional so can't see a change there.

I would avoid row 11, 12 and 24 if you feel disturbed by proximity of lavatories and galleys (noise)
if you travel as couple take E, F seats; as single traveller avoid those
if you prefer privacy, take seats at the window (A and K)
if you prefer a bit more space to move, take those at the isle (B, D, G, J)

Can anyone confirm which seats are on BKK-FRA TG922? New 77W or old 773?

Have a solo red-eye flight on the 787 coming up.
Looking at the seat map - I have chosen 2a. My goal is to maximise sleep.
As much as aisle access is important - for this flight I think i'd be asleep most of it - however in the event i do need to go to the toilet - how difficult is it to cross over the aisle passenger?
