TG600 BKK-HKG (A380 aircraft) was severe turbulance. 20 passengers and 10 crews were injured.
See picture of damaged ceiling. |
lets hope everybody on board TG600 this morning is doing ok.
damaged ceiling looks like a cart damaged it. turbulence. more here. http://www.hflight.net/forums/topic/...8%B8%E0%B8%A1/ looks really concerning. |
This aircraft (A380) made a ferry flight to bangkok for checking the damage and repairs it.
I think some of NRT/FRA/CDG filghts may have effect aka aircraft change from this incident. P.S. The number of injurers was changed to 30 passengers and 15 crew (from a total of 24 crew onboard) Below are news links in English. Bangkokpost The Nation |
I was on the flight. Really insane extremely lucky i am okay
I wrote a post see: http://boardingarea.com/canadiankilo...ht-of-my-life/ |
This type of severe turbulence happens. It's rare but it happens. I think a UA FA was killed about 15 years ago in severe turbulence. Hope nobody was badly hurt in this incident.
Good idea to keep seat belt on at all time even if the light is off. |

I think some of NRT/FRA/CDG filghts may have effect aka aircraft change from this incident. HS-TUA - the 388 on TG600 yesterday - was flying TG930 to CDG last nite. no effect / equipment change. |

Was in HKG Airport yesterday and wondered why the A380 left in direction to BKK with 5 hours delay...

So glad to hear you're okay. What do you think was more likely to injure people -- hitting the ceiling going up, or landing hard coming down?

No it was not. It was HS-TUC flying TG930 to CDG and going back today as TG931. HS-TUA I think still in HKG.
