maybe a bit of love

i am not sure how accurate expert flyer is but it shows a 9 seat F config for may 3 SYD-BKK on TG472.

Ive searched around that date and the others are 10 seats.

So fingers crosses ints a new F

If anyone is any good with expert flyer what do you think ?

I've been looking at the seat maps for BKK-MUC and they say that it will be 10F 95% of the time. 5% of the time they say it will be 9F. However, the 9F planes actually show up much more often than they predict. However, there doesn't appear to be any relationship between when expert flyer predicts a new cabin and when one actually shows up. The exception is within a day or two of take-off. At that point, if the seat map changes, it seems to reflect what will actually happen. I don't know if the same is true on the BKK-SYD route, but I suspect that it is the same.

Awesome! I really have my fingers crossed that we will see this version of F on SYD-BKK (5pm departure) and return BKK to SYD in November/December. It looks great. We also have the TG A380 F suites to look forward to on CDG-BKK. Hope it stays that way

Down under girl i have read that a 380 will start from SYD in BKK from Sept but then again i have also read they cancelled that idea.

Pretty sure the A380 isn't coming here anytime soon, sadly.

Just had a look at ACARS. Looks like TGY,Z,A,G are busy as TG910/11 & 916/17: BKK-LHR, so that routes getting the new F for now.

TGB must be in the shop: I see no movements for the last month.

TG623 (KIX-BKK) is showing a 744 with 9-seat F on April 27 (and possibly other dates as well).

I wouldn't count on it. I was on TG475 last week and EF was showing a 9 seat configuration right up until boarding, but it turned out to be the old 10.
It was still pleasant enough though.

I had the same experience: my Sabre Corporate tool was showing 9F seat map until the day before departure. But when I was selling a dummy segment a message was showing up (below the segment) that config is 10F. I tried on a couple of occasions and the 10F message was showing up. Apparently this message is coming from Royal (TG host system) and only Royal is updated with a correct F version. I called my T/Agency - they checked also in Amadeus and Worldspan (by selling the segment without creating a PNR) - all GDS'es were showing this 10F message (below the segment) when an F seat was sold.

I wish it was, but from what I can see on the seat map for Nov/Dec SYD BKK return - its 10F 747. Ah well...I hope to keep the F suites that we currently have on the A380 CDG BKK in December but are prepared for the fact that it may get moved off that route.
