have, but that was years ago. no wonder the crew needs to adapt given the hordes of drunken passengers that are/were typical for SAS flights...

I was on BKK-MXP last week and it was 10F. MUC-BKK for the return was 9F.

Yes but LHR FRA and CDG are safest bets b/c all 380s have new F.

If it's a 744 route, you can never know for sure.

there is no safe bet on the 747! it is like playing lottery! but then IMHO it does not matter much as I think the so called old with the single seats are not so much behind the suite seats! also full flat and a lot of space...just less privacy, if that's what you are after...

How many TG 747 have retrofitted F class? I'm particularly interested in the MUC-BKK route. And how can you tell if a flight has retrofitted F?

not sure what you understand by "retrofitted F class"!
TG has 6 747 with suites and 6 with single seats but all are full flat
for details read here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/thai-...-overview.html

6 planes or 50%
if suites, there are 9 suites in F; if single seats there are 10. so you see it from the seat map
or from plane number as in the link stated

So getting the new F on MUC-BKK is just a 50/50 chance, there's no particular route that tends to get more new F than another?
