TG476 - 10F config
TG640 - 10F config
TG641 - 10F config
TG475 - 10F config
BKKROP is (once again) completely incorrect by suggesting that TGZ (suites config) is operating on this route on your dates. As it currently stands (direct from Thai's reservation system) - all 10F old but not oldest config.

Do you mean on those particular dates or generally? FWIW, and only as a data point rather than a generalization, I took 640 a few weeks ago (mid-December) and had new suites. As I wrote in another thread, they were lovely.

TG640/TG641 was running suites consistently prior to the new year. Since then, suites have not run at all on that route. I would say there is no consistency and it is the TG lottery in full swing.

I don't think that TG didn't want to install the same C seats as on A380 and 777-300ER (not 9W ones). However, those seats are not certified for B747. So TG seems to have no choice but to pick updated C slope lie-flat instead of fully flat bed as on A380 & 777-300ER.

The 777-200ER/-300 J seats (and now the updated 747-400 J seats) are OK for a flight up to 7 or 8 hours or so, IMHO, but any further and their inability to go flat (let alone horizontal) is an issue. I find they're ok if you want to sleep on your back, but not so good for sleeping on your side. Really, I preferred the "7443" J seats.
The A380 J seats are very nice and I think will be great for long flights. Maybe a fraction on the narrow side, but I doubt this will be much of an issue.

So when all six are done it appears that the routes they will most likely ply are not withstanding equipment swaps
Munich
London both flights
Tokyo
Hong Kong
Now I assume this eats up the entire six frames.
Then it looks like 77w jet airways some are going back but not all yet, maybe 3 as Paris swaps to a380, so Frankfurt keeps 77w with first and Haneda, and on Sundays it seems to bru as well, so this would require 3 frames I think

I just got jacked from TG. Was on the TG935 on 777-300 leased from 9W in the F suites for this July and they've switched out to the TG 777-300ER with the two class config and dropped me from First to Biz. They did this one day after I booked it.
You can say I'm more than bummed.
If I can rebook on TG911 which is showing a 747 aircraft for July, but is currently running the A340. What's the realistic chances this would be the upgraded 747 in F for July LHR-BKK?
Did I mention this really sucks?
