Does TG through-check baggage on 2 different PNRs on two different airlines?

Does TG through-check baggage when Im booked on two separate tickets AND the flights are operated by two different airlines (TG and a non-*A carrier)?

The itinerary would probably be something like SIN - BKK - SYD(TG F) - AKL/CHC (QF or EK)

On the one hand theres the IATA interline agreement, but I somehow have my doubts that the TG folks at SIN will be able/willing to check my baggage to the final destination...

And collecting my baggage at SYD, going through customs/immigration/agricultural inspection and then recheck the bags and go through security again would be a huge pain...

At the TG check-in desks in CNX there is a big sign showing the airlines with which TG will interline bags. Both QF and EK are listed.

While this doesn't mean the SIN staff will comply, these are advertised as doable in Chiang Mai.
