Seat 1A still problematic on the 77W?

Hello,

I have read that seat 1A has been a problem in the past on the 777-300 (77W), in that it becomes "non-operational" and people have to be moved to another seat (or downgraded!) before the flight.

Does anyone know if this continues to be an issue?

Thanks

Has anyone flown in 1A recently?

Flew from CDG a month ago. Seat 1A was operating normally on that specific aircraft.

Flew TG 676 BKK - NRT on Oct 6th and 1-A was occupied without any apparent problems.

Shoul have added that I took another flight in September where 1A was empty. I do not know if that was caused by malfunction. Cabin had 3 empty seats.

Is there a reason why none of the Thai 777s show up has having an F class on seatguru?

Because Seatguru is not always accurate / complete!

The 777-300 config displayed for TG hasn't existed for around 2 years!

TG's website has a map for the leased aircraft (styled 77J)
http://www.thaiairways.com/thai-serv...nloads/77J.pdf

Have they started using on the HND route now? I thought it just flew NRT-BKK

Yes, effective December 1, 2011 the 77W will replace the A345 for their Winter Schedule which means both NRT and HND will have the 77W.
