Latest I heard from hflight.net is that one 7443 (HS-TGR) is being retrofitted with new economy class seats and AVOD in Y. F and C remain the unchanged.

One 7442 (HS-TGX) is also not seen in the past week. If it is being retrofitted, it should come back with all new seats in all classes. Hope this is the case.

HS-TGX is a 7443, so if that bird is in for a retrofit I guess it would be for economy only... The 6 7442s are HS-TGA/TGB/TGF/TGG/TGY/TGZ

HS-TGR, now with AVOD in Y class, should enter service within April.

Thanks, will TGR still be referred to as "all series" on the website?

Internally I think it's called 74J but for external I think it's still being referred as 744 (7443) since seat map should remain unchanged.

Do you guys know what routes those planes fly? Or would you be able to guide me to where I would be able to find out? I'm going to be doing FRA-BKK, BKK-HKG and would like to know if my planes are refurbished.....obviously the FRA-BKK flight is the one I want PTV's the most.

http://data.flight24.com/airplanes/hs-tgr/

Should show you routes recently flown by HS-TGR...shows nothing at the moment mind you. If other aircraft are refitted substitute the reg in the URL e.g. for HS-TGX

From flight24.com it seems that HS-TNA (340-600) is in for maintenance as well.

Anyone know if they will do anything to the cabin configuration on the 340`s now, or will TG wait until later before they refurbish them?

I doubt it... it says cabin refreshing for 346 will start in 2012. However, if they are accelerating the upgrade on 346, I wouldn't mind Have a flight in October to SYD

The number of seat remains the same so I guess the seat pitch remains the same. The legroom may be reduced, however, due to the IFE boxes under some seats.

Sorry. My bad. It should read HS-TNA.
