Dallas has been rehabbing the downtown Arts District, a project that has been in the works for decades (as I learned on a junket earlier this summer). Amazing what oil money can do--the performing arts facilities are world class, and the museums are lovely, if perhaps not quite on a par with Ft. Worth's. That said, the first thing I'll check out the next time I'm there is the Book Depository.
Agreed. Sammons Centre, The Dallas Theatre Centre, The Performing Arts Centre, etc, host some very good productions.
