Help In Houston, Tx

I just moved to Houston, near Woodlands
to be exact.
I cannot find any Airport Shuttle Services
as we have in HNL or the Super Shuttles
at so many other airports.
Can any fellow FTs out there shed some
light on the transportation situation here?
I understand cab fare is $ 80.00 and up.
For us Mileage Runners $ 160.00 roundtrip
means a lot of wasted money/miles.

EXLEFTSEAT, a better place to get your question answered would be our Travel & Dining thread for the South and I'll move it there for discussion. Indeed, there's an active thread there about moving to Houston. There are several shuttle services charging about $46 RT from suburbs to IAH. Hopefully the local experts will help you find some good options. Ocn Vw 1K, Co-Moderator, CommunityBuzz

My apologies for putting this on the wrong
board. I am new to this.
Thanks for your help and moving it.

I hope I am not too much of a bother to you.
but could you tell me why my posts don't
show that little traffic sign ( report bad or
misplaced posts )?
I feel so vulnerable without it. What to do.
Don't let me stick out like a sore thumb, it's
bad enough to be a newbie not understanding
half of the FT specific lingo.
Thanks for your help.

Parking at IAH is very cheap, compared to LAX and other big cities. I've parked at IAH for less than $5 a day for uncovered parking. Covered parking is a bit higher around $8 a day. Might be cheaper than taking a shuttle cab if your trip is shorter than 10 days.

Airport Parking

EXLEFTSEAT:

I work for a company called The Parking Spot and we have two locations at IAH: one on JFK, probably best for you coming from Woodlands, and one on Will Clayton. We have coupons for both locations available on our web site, www.theparkingspot.com, which sweeten the deal a bit.

Thanks for the information. Have downloaded
the coupon and will give them a try next week.
Thanks again.

On my last trip from IAH, I parked at a spot off of Greens Road (Company name went something like "Park and relax"). The rate posted in the front was about $4.40/day for uncovered parking.
