BA to use A380 to DFW
 
Multiple news sources quoting the same info in the article linked below.
BA to switch from 78X to 388 for DFW flights on or after Dec.7 with the caveat:
“DFW may be delayed as the necessary facilities to handle a BA A380 are not yet in place”
British Airways to bring back the A380 ‘SuperJumbo’ jet | The Independent
Anyone care to speculate what is meant by "necessary facilities" given that the D terminal is already A380 capable?
The Qantas A380, which is now suspended, surely frees up an A380 capable gate.

D16X is still there (the A380 gate) so I don’t know what infrastructure they’d be referring to.

Was a 77W when I was at DFW yesterday.
