Rental Cars and ELP

There is some significant concession fee (10%) + tax (17%) that's getting piled on to car rentals directly out of ELP.

Any recommendations for better off-site facilities/options?

Thanks!

David

That's pretty standard in Texas, probably much of US.

It's been almost 10 years since I've rented a car in El Paso for work, but I would think it is the same as any other city, where off airport car rental should be cheaper. Your problem would be getting there without a car .... IIRC ELP is a bit out of town.

Route 33 and Route 50 (Sun Metro) both serve the airport 7 days a week
