I got a laugh (to myself obviously) a few months ago when I showed up at IAH for my ANA business class flight on the 102 Metro bus. :D $1.25 each way, you can't beat it, especially if you have the time to kill as it's clearly the least time efficient way to the airport short of walking or riding a bicycle.

^^^ when in iah i stay at friends' place downtown that is 100ft away from the 102 stop. don't have to annoy friends and it's a nice peaceful way to and fro. and coming from bush, once you're on 45 you're home free. also met some interesting people on the bus. no shame in taking metro, although this is houston we are talking about lol
