UA Lounge accessible from Houston IAH terminal A? (IAH airside terminal connection)

Can the lounge (united) at terminal A be reached post security from the AA gate area?

Yes, there is a walkway between north and south side of Terminal A that you can take from AA gates to the United club.

Terminal A is also connected to the other IAH terminals by a train inside security, so you could visit the United clubs in the other terminals if you so desired.

As this is unrelated to flying American Airlines, it has moved to the Texas forum.

A term club is quite small, and unless they installed bathrooms since I was based out of IAH, you have to go down the hall.

I kind of liked it, because it was generally quieter than the other larger clubs - but I haven't been inside in a few years.
