Airside access to IAH terminal D for KLM lounge?

If I'm flying on a domestic UA flight, would it be possible to take the train airside to terminal D to access the KLM lounge (I have priority pass select)? Or is there immigration / customs that will prevent me from doing so?

Without addressing KLM lounge access, there is no reason you could not get to it from anywhere at IAH.

Had three hours to kill on Saturday while changing planes, and Term D is empty in a.m. so did most of my walking there. You can walk there from terms E or C, in fact probably faster to walk then take the train from some C gates, and since the train is between E and D no need for train at all from E

Great! It looked like such from the map but I had a hard time believing that the terminals were really connected via walking. The last time I tried to cross terminals at LHR to see off my girlfriend, I ran into immigration kiosks and made the walk of shame back through the security that I just cleared...
