Downtown Austin Hotels

It is impossible to get a good deal it seems on the downtown hotels in Austin. Does anyone have any recommendations?

What constitutes a "good deal" for you?
When are you looking for room(s)?
Recommendations for what? Boutique? Budget? Luxury?

Corporate rates can help you out. My company has rates sub $150 at both the W and the Four Seasons. The Hilton over on the east side usually has reasonable rates if you don't qualify for corporate rates.
