PMs only being notified via email?
 

So I'm online reading forums. In the past if I received a PM while online, it would pop-out in a little window (my term) & tell me I have a message, name & subject line.

Lately it's not happening at all, but when I check my email there's a notification there that I have a PM & the message, and then when I click on PM & list messages the message(s) are there.

If I didn't happen to check email I might not know I had a PM. I haven't changed any of my settings. Thoughts? I just received 4 PMs today & had no pop-up even though I was online & on FT.

PM pop-up and colour change working for me over the weekend, I do not have the email option enabled

just happened to me while reading this thread.....

i saw my "pm box" change color to the yellowishgreeenish color so i waited and no pop up box

I've never noticed my PM box changing color. Yest while I was on FT I received 4 PMs during that time with no pop-up box, but I did get 4 emails. It's been happening for a while (or at least during the last week). Same situation. Tres strange.

i just sent you a pm...did the little "welcome box" change colors?

Well it's green now, but truthfully I didn't notice what color it was before as I don't really pay attention to the welcome box because well, I already know I'm on.

But after reading my PMs, I clicked on My Flyertalk and besides bringing up the forums I have bookmarked, it also told me I had some new messages - which were dated May 08 & also '07. Don't think those are new ;)

Ok, thanks to goalie, think I figured out the white/green, and the older messages popping up as new. And also his last 2 PMs to me are popping up when he's sending them, so hopefully that will stick.
