Phantom 4th page?

It shows 4 pages exist in the thread. Yet if I click on the 4 or >, it kicks me back to the 3rd. Same happens if I manually change the 3 to a 4 in the URL.

Maybe there isn't a 4th page?

Interesting. I only see 2 pages and 45 posts.

How many posts per page did you set up in your preferences?

I'm seeing the same: 45 posts on 3 pages, but a mysterious 4th page is there. I see this occasionally if there was a 46th post (or more), but a post or two has been deleted for some reason.

I wasn't aware that you could change the # of posts viewable, so I'm running the default, which appears to be about 15 posts per screen/page.

As far as I know, there's no update on this since Feb, 2008.

I don't think this problem has been fixed yet. Or should I say IB hasn't been able to successfully identify the phantom page problem or how the out-of-sync thingy happens. ;)

If you click on Edit Options at the left of the main page, you can change the default.... choices are 5, 10, 20, 30 or 40 posts per page. I have it set to 40 viewable posts per page.
