New PM limit?
Logged into FT after a few days on the road to the message in the upper-right corner welcome box:
Your PM box is 100% full. I pulled up my inbox to this message: You have 779 messages stored, of a total 500 allowed. Any ideas? Any fixes in sight that don't require me to take an hour to comb through the messages so I don't accidentally delete important ones? (How about an "Export PMs to Text" option for archival purposes? I'm too used to Gmail's forget-about-deleting-stuff method of organizing stuff to have to worry about keeping my PM in and sent boxes clean...) |

There is already an option to export PM's to your PC in several formats. Open your PM Folder and in the bottom right-hand corner you'll see this: Download all Private Messages as: XML | CSV | Text On the PM limit question, I'll let the HOM's respond as I'm not sure if this was affected by our recent software upgrade. |

Strange, I thought--I didn't think I was that close to the limit.

Is jackal a free-rider FT or just "downgraded" from a FT Premium? |

I believe for the free-rider FTers, 500 PM is the limit. For FT Premiums, the PM limit is higher.
Is jackal a free-rider FT or just "downgraded" from a FT Premium? Will fix it shortly...so if anyone is wanting to send me a PM, I should be able to get them soon. (I'm paying AU$2 per 20 minutes on a kiosk run by netkiosk with a horribly slow processor (and a non-tabbed browser) and even horribly slower 320kbps DSL connection, so I'll try my best to navigate to the appropriate places this session! :) |
